The Bible Documents Apparitions
Apparitions are well documented in both the Old and New Testaments. Many are quick to believe in ghost stories, but slow to accept apparitions of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, a saint or an angel. In the Old Testament, the Lord's messengers appeared to Abraham (Genesis, CH 18) and the Archangel Raphael spent many days traveling with Tobias (Book of Tobias/Tobit).
In the New Testament, the Archangel Gabriel appeared to Mary telling her she would bear our Savior. As noted in prior documentation about St. Michael, the same Archangel Gabriel appeared to Daniel.
When Jesus was transfigured on Mt. Tabor, Peter, James and John saw Him speaking with Moses and Elijah. "Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared to them conversing with him." Matthew 17:3
Jesus appeared to many people after rising from the dead, and on one occasion, Scripture tells us that He appeared to 500 people at once (1st Corinth. 15:6). Scripture also states that "some have entertained angels without knowing it" (Hebrews 13:2). Even in Jesus' Day, they had difficulty believing in apparitions, as noted in the following passage:
"At length he (Jesus) appeared to the eleven as they were at table;
and He upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart
because they did not believe them who had seen Him after He was risen again."
(Mark 16:14)
There were many apparitions after Jesus' Resurrection: "Many bodies of saints who had fallen asleep were raised. After Jesus' resurrection they came forth from their tombs and entered the holy city and appeared to many." (Matthew 27:53)
These are just a few of the many apparitions mentioned throughout the Bible that indicate to us that apparitions can take place, and that God's love for us is so great that He wills to send us Heavenly help from time to time. And what greater need do we have for Heavenly intervention, than now.

Historical Considerations Our Lady of Fatima
In 1916 an angel appeared to 3 young children in Fatima, Portugal, who identified himself as the Angel of Peace. He advised the children that the hearts of Jesus and Mary were attentive to their prayers and that they should "Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High. Make everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. You will thus draw down peace upon your country. I am its Angel Guardian, the Angel of Portugal. Above all, accept and bear with submission the suffering which the Lord will send you..."
The angel also taught the children to repeat often the following prayer: "My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love You! I ask pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love you."
A year later, on May 13, 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to the children for the first time. She asked them to come back to the same place on the 13th of each month for 6 months, and in October she would provide a miracle so that all might believe. She promised to take Jacinta to heaven, but said that her brother, Francisco, would have to say many Rosaries first. (Francisco died in 1919 and his sister, Jacinta, died a year later. Lucia, the oldest seer became a nun and died in 2005 at the age of 97.)

for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary."

7/13/17 Lucia stated: "As Our Lady spoke these last words, she opened her hands once more, as she had done during the two previous months. The rays of light seemed to penetrate the earth, and we saw as it were a sea of fire. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form, like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that issued from within themselves together with great clouds of smoke, now falling back on every side like sparks in huge fires, without weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear....The demons could be distinguished by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals. Terrified and as if to plead for help, we looked up at Our lady, who said to us, so kindly and so sadly:
"You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end. But if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. "
"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded; Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.....When you pray the Rosary, say after each mystery:
O my Jesus, forgive us, save us from the fire
of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially
those most in need.
8/13/17 "Pray, pray very much, and make sacrifices for sinners; so many souls go to hell because there is no one to pray and to make sacrifices for them."
9/13/17 "Continue to pray the Rosary in order to obtain the end of the war. In October Our Lord will come, as well as Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Carmel. St. Joseph will appear with the Child Jesus to bless the world. God is pleased with your sacrifices...."
10/13/17 "I want to tell you that a chapel is to be built here in my honor. I am the Lady of the Rosary. Continue always to pray the Rosary every day. The war is going to end, and soldiers will soon return to their homes......Do not offend the Lord our God any more, because He is already much offended."
On October 13, 1917, approximately 70,000 pilgrims traveled through what Lucia referred to as "torrents" of rain in order to attend the last apparition, as Our Lady had promised (months earlier) to perform a miracle so that all would believe. When the visionaries arrived, Lucia asked the people to put down their umbrellas and pray the Rosary. During the apparition, the Blessed Virgin opened her hands to reflect her light onto the sun, as she ascended back into Heaven. As the visionary, Lucia, witnessed that, she cried out for the people to "Look at the sun!" At that point, the pilgrims suddenly noticed that the sun seemed to loosen itself from the heavens and appeared to be descending toward the earth. They feared that they would be burned up by the sun's heat. This terrifying spectacle lasted for about 10 minutes, after which the sun appeared to return to its normal position in the sky. Immediately afterwards, the people noticed that the ground was dry, and their clothes as well.

The Blessed Mother appeared again to Lucia in the chapel of her convent on 6/13/29, where she saw the following vision. "...Suddenly the whole Chapel was illumined by a supernatural light, and a cross of light appeared above the altar, reaching to the ceiling. In a bright light at the upper part of the cross could be seen the face of a Man and His body to the waist, on His breast there was a dove also of light, and nailed to the cross, was the body of another Man. Somewhat above the waist, I could see a chalice and a large Host suspended in the air, onto which drops of blood were falling from the face of Jesus Crucified and from the wound in His side. These drops ran down onto the Host and fell into the chalice. Our Lady was beneath the right arm of the cross (...it was Our Lady of Fatima with Her Immaculate Heart in Her left hand...without sword or roses, but with a crown of thorns and flames...) Under the left arm of the cross, large letters, as of crystal clear water which ran down over the altar, formed these words: 'Graces and Mercy.' I understood that it was the Mystery of the Most Holy Trinity which was shown to me, and I received lights about this Mystery which I am not permitted to reveal.
Our Lady then said to me: 'The Moment has come when God asks the Holy Father, in union with all the Bishops of the world, to make the consecration of Russia to My Heart, promising to save it by this means.' -- Later, Lucia wrote: "Our Lord complained to me, saying: 'They did not wish to heed my request. Like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars, and persecutions of the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.' "
The Last Fatima Secret Revealed in 2001
During one of the apparitions in 1917 the Blessed Mother gave one secret to the children that all of the popes decided to keep secret until Pope John-Paul II authorized its release on the anniversary of the Fatima apparitions, on May 13, 2001.
The Secret
"....at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw, an angel with a flaming sword in his left hand. Flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire, but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand. Pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice, 'Penance, Penance, Penance.'
"And we saw in an immense light that is God, something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it, a bishop dressed in white. We had the impression that it was the Holy Father.
Other bishops, priests, men and women religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks, as of a cork tree with the bark. Before reaching there, the Holy Father passed through a big city, half in ruins. And half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way. Having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross, he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him.
"And in the same way, there died, one after another, the other bishops, priests, men and women religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the cross there were two angels, each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God."

Before Jacinta's death, she revealed certain things that the Blessed Mother told her, such as:
"The sins which cause most souls to go to hell are the sins of the flesh."
"Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much."
The 5 First Saturdays Devotion
On 12/10/25 Our Lady appeared to Sister Lucia with the Christ Child. She showed her heart encircled with thorns. The Child said: "Have compassion on the Heart of your most holy Mother, covered with thorns, with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to make an act of reparation to remove them." Then the Blessed Virgin said: "Look, my daughter, at my Heart, surrounded with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce me at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You at least try
to console me and say that I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of 5 consecutive months, shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for 15 minutes while meditating on the 15 mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me." (Note: This condition pertains to Catholics, as far as Confession & Holy Communion go, but non-Catholics can participate in the 5 first Saturdays as much as possible by their sincere effort to make such reparation----by praying the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, and by participating in the Rosary conditions as the Blessed Mother has recommended. Our Lord would be please with any such effort.)

The following shows some of the "fashions that will offend our Lord," and an example of the hatred for the Blessed Mother. This demonstrates our great need to make reparation, such as in the Devotion of the 5 First Saturdays.

On the right, a pair of swim trunks that boast of the devil in flames. In fact skeletons and flames are quite popular now. There are also many other fashions that give great offense to God and the virtue of modesty.

In 1981 the Blessed Virgin began appearing to several children in Medjugorje, in the area of Bosnia/Herzegovena. This was prior to the major war and genocide that took place there in the early to mid 1990's. It is estimated that over 100,000 people died in the Bosnian war. She came to prepare them spiritually 10 years before the beginning of the war, and she continues to give her messages today, at least on a monthly basis to Marjana. Information can be obtained by the following Google Search: "Miracle of Medjugorje" by Wayne Weible (Include quotation marks.) Mr. Weible approached the Medjugorje apparitions as a "newspaper reporter" about 20 years ago, and documented his discoveries. He has been a promoter of Medjugorje ever since.

Also in 1981 the Blessed Mother began appearing in Kibeho, Rwanda. Their genocide began in 1994, and an estimated 800,000 people were murdered. At the time, CNN showed tractors scooping up dead bodies and dumping them in mass graves. Mary came to prepare them through her apparitions from 1981 to 1989.

In the 1990's pilgrims in the United States flocked to Conyers, Georgia, where Our Lady appeared over a period of several years in order to draw souls back to God. Many of the hundreds of thousands of visiting pilgrims can tell of extraordinary events, such as the sudden scent of roses, or what appeared to be rose petals or gold dust falling from the sky. The following pictures were all taken during some of the Conyers apparitions.
In this "Polaroid" picture (enlarged on the left) we can see what appears to be the Blessed Virgin and a figure, in the form of a cloud, going ahead of her. In the words of the Fatima Seer, Lucia, from her memoirs, she also documented seeing a cloud in human form, which she referred to as an angel: "We were just about to start praying the Rosary when I saw, poised in the air above the trees.....what appeared to be a cloud in human form, whiter than snow and almost transparent...This happened on two further occasions, but on different days." (Polaroids are instant pictures...no tampering.)

1/13/91 (Mary) "My dear children, please know that I have come as your Loving Mother. I have come to deliver a grave message. Sorrow reigns in Heaven over the many lost souls in this country. I implore you with a most urgent plea, turn back to God now, for sorrow will reign in your land. I am very sad. My children everywhere have ignored my Son. This nation needs a great conversion. I will echo the words of my Son again. 'A nation, which is given the most, has rejected God the most.' I will end by saying I will continue to pray for all of you and continue to beg of my Son's Mercy."

This looks like an angel child with a pink-tinged gown, holding something.
It brings to mind the following passage: "And another angel came, and stood before the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer of the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar, which is before the throne of God." Apocalypse 8:3
Above the angel, is the face of a man, and in front of the angel is what looks like an evil-looking face with goat-like horns. The figures of the angel and the evil one seem to oppose each other. There is also a large M above the head of the man.
This shows some of the pilgrims in attendance during the 1990's Conyers apparitions. For the sake of the large crowds, the apparitions took place at a little house on this hill. The adjacent "Holy Hill," where the visionary lives, is shown in the above photo of the large Crucifix. (The Blessed Mother is no longer appearing there, and the property is currently closed to visitors. The visionary has been battling cancer, and we ask for your prayers for her.)

The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.....When you pray the Rosary, say after each mystery:

8/13/17 "Pray, pray very much, and make sacrifices for sinners; so many souls go to hell because there is no one to pray and to make sacrifices for them."
9/13/17 "Continue to pray the Rosary in order to obtain the end of the war. In October Our Lord will come, as well as Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Carmel. St. Joseph will appear with the Child Jesus to bless the world. God is pleased with your sacrifices...."
10/13/17 "I want to tell you that a chapel is to be built here in my honor. I am the Lady of the Rosary. Continue always to pray the Rosary every day. The war is going to end, and soldiers will soon return to their homes......Do not offend the Lord our God any more, because He is already much offended."
On October 13, 1917, approximately 70,000 pilgrims traveled through what Lucia referred to as "torrents" of rain in order to attend the last apparition, as Our Lady had promised (months earlier) to perform a miracle so that all would believe. When the visionaries arrived, Lucia asked the people to put down their umbrellas and pray the Rosary. During the apparition, the Blessed Virgin opened her hands to reflect her light onto the sun, as she ascended back into Heaven. As the visionary, Lucia, witnessed that, she cried out for the people to "Look at the sun!" At that point, the pilgrims suddenly noticed that the sun seemed to loosen itself from the heavens and appeared to be descending toward the earth. They feared that they would be burned up by the sun's heat. This terrifying spectacle lasted for about 10 minutes, after which the sun appeared to return to its normal position in the sky. Immediately afterwards, the people noticed that the ground was dry, and their clothes as well.
Lucia's Vision of the Holy Trinity - 1929
The Blessed Mother appeared again to Lucia in the chapel of her convent on 6/13/29, where she saw the following vision. "...Suddenly the whole Chapel was illumined by a supernatural light, and a cross of light appeared above the altar, reaching to the ceiling. In a bright light at the upper part of the cross could be seen the face of a Man and His body to the waist, on His breast there was a dove also of light, and nailed to the cross, was the body of another Man. Somewhat above the waist, I could see a chalice and a large Host suspended in the air, onto which drops of blood were falling from the face of Jesus Crucified and from the wound in His side. These drops ran down onto the Host and fell into the chalice. Our Lady was beneath the right arm of the cross (...it was Our Lady of Fatima with Her Immaculate Heart in Her left hand...without sword or roses, but with a crown of thorns and flames...) Under the left arm of the cross, large letters, as of crystal clear water which ran down over the altar, formed these words: 'Graces and Mercy.' I understood that it was the Mystery of the Most Holy Trinity which was shown to me, and I received lights about this Mystery which I am not permitted to reveal. Our Lady then said to me: 'The Moment has come when God asks the Holy Father, in union with all the Bishops of the world, to make the consecration of Russia to My Heart, promising to save it by this means.' -- Later, Lucia wrote: "Our Lord complained to me, saying: 'They did not wish to heed my request. Like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars, and persecutions of the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.' "
The Last Fatima Secret Revealed in 2001
During one of the apparitions in 1917 the Blessed Mother gave one secret to the children that all of the popes decided to keep secret until Pope John-Paul II authorized its release on the anniversary of the Fatima apparitions, on May 13, 2001.
The Secret
"....at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw, an angel with a flaming sword in his left hand. Flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire, but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand. Pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice, 'Penance, Penance, Penance.'
"And we saw in an immense light that is God, something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it, a bishop dressed in white. We had the impression that it was the Holy Father.
Other bishops, priests, men and women religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks, as of a cork tree with the bark. Before reaching there, the Holy Father passed through a big city, half in ruins. And half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way. Having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross, he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him."And in the same way, there died, one after another, the other bishops, priests, men and women religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the cross there were two angels, each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God."

Before Jacinta's death, she revealed certain things that the Blessed Mother told her, such as:
"The sins which cause most souls to go to hell are the sins of the flesh."
"Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much."
The 5 First Saturdays Devotion
On 12/10/25 Our Lady appeared to Sister Lucia with the Christ Child. She showed her heart encircled with thorns. The Child said: "Have compassion on the Heart of your most holy Mother, covered with thorns, with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to make an act of reparation to remove them." Then the Blessed Virgin said: "Look, my daughter, at my Heart, surrounded with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce me at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You at least try
to console me and say that I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of 5 consecutive months, shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for 15 minutes while meditating on the 15 mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me." (Note: This condition pertains to Catholics, as far as Confession & Holy Communion go, but non-Catholics can participate in the 5 first Saturdays as much as possible by their sincere effort to make such reparation----by praying the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, and by participating in the Rosary conditions as the Blessed Mother has recommended. The following shows some of the "fashions that will offend our Lord," and an example of the hatred for the Blessed Mother. This demonstrates our great need to make reparation, such as in the Devotion of the 5 First Saturdays.
On the left, the front side of 2 t-shirts found at a Beall's outlet a couple years ago. It shows Mary as a skeleton in the general image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
On the right, a pair of swim trunks that boast of the devil in flames. In fact skeletons and flames are quite popular now. There are also many other fashions that give great offense to God and the virtue of modesty.

In 1981 the Blessed Virgin began appearing to several children in Medjugorje, in the area of Bosnia/Herzegovena. This was prior to the major war and genocide that took place there in the early to mid 1990's. It is estimated that over 100,000 people died in the Bosnian war. She came to prepare them spiritually 10 years before the beginning of the war, and she continues to give her messages today, at least on a monthly basis to Marjana. Information can be obtained by the following Google Search: "Miracle of Medjugorje" by Wayne Weible (Include quotation marks.) Mr. Weible approached the Medjugorje apparitions as a "newspaper reporter" about 20 years ago, and documented his discoveries. He has been a promoter of Medjugorje ever since.Her message: "Pray, pray, pray!"

Also in 1981 the Blessed Mother began appearing in Kibeho, Rwanda. Their genocide began in 1994, and an estimated 800,000 people were murdered. At the time, CNN showed tractors scooping up dead bodies and dumping them in mass graves. Mary came to prepare them through her apparitions from 1981 to 1989.

In the 1990's pilgrims in the United States flocked to Conyers, Georgia, where Our Lady appeared over a period of several years in order to draw souls back to God. Many of the hundreds of thousands of visiting pilgrims can tell of extraordinary events, such as the sudden scent of roses, or what appeared to be rose petals or gold dust falling from the sky. The following pictures were all taken during some of the Conyers apparitions.
In this "Polaroid" picture (enlarged on the left) we can see what appears to be the Blessed Virgin and a figure, in the form of a cloud, going ahead of her. In the words of the Fatima Seer, Lucia, from her memoirs, she also documented seeing a cloud in human form, which she referred to as an angel: "We were just about to start praying the Rosary when I saw, poised in the air above the trees.....what appeared to be a cloud in human form, whiter than snow and almost transparent...This happened on two further occasions, but on different days." (Polaroids are instant pictures...no tampering.)

Sin breeds sin......Violence will beget more violence. Conflicts will turn into wars. You will battle with each other over laws that you create apart from me. Then so will the earth tremble in many places. The earth will divide. The earth will divide and take away your riches. Some of you will die suddenly. You will have no warning.
My Mother has told you: 'Prepare, prepare, prepare.' You have closed your ears. You have closed your hearts to me. When you have pushed My Mother aside, I tell you, you have pushed Me aside too. My Mother stands with Me. When you push God aside, then you shall suffer the consequences. The clock continues to tick. The hour is rapidly approaching when one disaster after another will befall you. There will be fighting everywhere. There will be famine and polluted water in many places. Great waves will crash upon your shores and you will experience cold when you should experience warmth. Flood waters will increase in many places. Fire will be upon the earth. You will think the heavens and the earth have rebelled against you. The clock continues to tick. Know that all that I have told you and more will come to pass. Repent. Repent. Repent. If you have ears, open them. If you have eyes, open them and come back to me. Please, dear children.
5/14/91 (Jesus) "Obedience pleases Me greatly. The Holy Spirit of God can most work in a soul who is humble and obedient."
1/13/91 (Mary) "My dear children, please know that I have come as your Loving Mother. I have come to deliver a grave message. Sorrow reigns in Heaven over the many lost souls in this country. I implore you with a most urgent plea, turn back to God now, for sorrow will reign in your land. I am very sad. My children everywhere have ignored my Son. This nation needs a great conversion. I will echo the words of my Son again. 'A nation, which is given the most, has rejected God the most.' I will end by saying I will continue to pray for all of you and continue to beg of my Son's Mercy."

This looks like an angel child with a pink-tinged gown, holding something. It brings to mind the following passage: "And another angel came, and stood before the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer of the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar, which is before the throne of God." Apocalypse 8:3
Above the angel, is the face of a man, and in front of the angel is what looks like an evil-looking face with goat-like horns. The figures of the angel and the evil one seem to oppose each other. There is also a large M above the head of the man.
This shows some of the pilgrims in attendance during the 1990's Conyers apparitions. For the sake of the large crowds, the apparitions took place at a little house on this hill. The adjacent "Holy Hill," where the visionary lives, is shown in the above photo of the large Crucifix. (The Blessed Mother is no longer appearing there, and the property is currently closed to visitors. The visionary has been battling cancer, and we ask for your prayers for her.)
