The Mountain of the Lord
"And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go, and say: Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us in his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall come forth from Sion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem..."

The Cross is the staff that assists us in our ascent, and the Palm is the sign of victory.

Our Spiritual Pilgrimage...Ascending the Holy Mountain of the Lord
Eternity awaits each one of us. One's life on earth, from the moment of conception, until death, is a very short journey. Even if we lived to be 100 years old, it can be compared to just one tiny drop of water....in the vast ocean of eternity. We need to be best prepared for that uncertain day, when we, ourselves, will enter into eternity. Consider those who died on 9/11 or in the recent tsunamis and tornadoes. It may seem impossible when we first hear about someone's sudden or tragic death....but we quickly learn how final death really is. We must be prepared...and there's a lot we can do to help others to prepare, as well. Therefore, we must put our feet upon the good path, the sure path that Our Lord has traced out for us, and strive----with all determination and courage---- to the top of that great spiritual Mountain of the Lord.
"A highway will be there, called the Holy Way...It is for those with a journey to
make and on it the redeemed will walk. Those whom the Lord has ransomed
will return and enter Zion singing, crowned with everlasting joy." (Isaiah 35:8-10)
The Holy Way is a spiritual pathway that ascends God's Holy Mountain, and to the pinnacle of sanctity that all of us are called to. We are all travelers. Willingly or unwillingly, we are all pilgrims on a journey. Jesus gave us His example as He climbed to the summit of Mt. Tabor, a very high mountain----and there, He was "transfigured," as He met with Moses and Elijah. If we choose to journey to the summit, along the Holy Pathway He has traced out for us, we too will become transfigured spiritually.

The Importance of Elevations
"They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in every plain....
.....And I will make all my mountains a way, and my paths shall be exalted."
Isaias 49:11
Throughout history, many apparitions have taken place on top of mountains, hills, or other elevated areas of land. Scripture tells us that Moses met God in the Burning Bush on Mt. Horeb, and gave His 10 Commandments from Mt. Sinai. (Exodus Ch. 20) Jesus gave us the Beatitudes from a mountain (the Sermon on the Mount.) "When he saw the crowds he went up on the mountainside...and he began to teach them." (Matthew 5:1-2)
The Virgin Mary first appeared to the children at Medjugorje on the hill of Crnica and pilgrims climb Mt. Krizevac, or Cross Mountain, as part of their Medjugorje experience. Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to Juan Diego on top of Tepeyac Hill. Other elevations to consider pertain to the recent apparitions at Conyers and Falmouth, Kentucky (from the 1990's).

Considerations
The author of this web-site has tried to present everything apart from so many personal experiences, but it is through the personal experiences of His children that Our Lord provides witnesses of His work. Therefore it's necessary to explain how the Holy Spirit drew attention to the Holy Love apparitions for the sake of discussing the Mountain of the Lord and its important links---for if the Lord, Himself, did not lead this somewhat "reluctant" fellow-pilgrim along a certain pathway, as discussed on these pages, this web-site would not exist.
As the site developed, it amazed me to see how the Will of God had arranged everything in this fellow-pilgrim's journey, throughout so many years, in order to include just the right photo and detail for the various pages----photos from even 30 years ago---and there was never any thought of doing a web-site until May, 2011. So I believe that the following diary page, just like the photos, were meant to be shared with others. It should also be noted that I'm not quick to believe in just any apparition or locutions...having read about several false ones in the1990's. So unless the Lord puts something right in front of me, and confirms it somehow, I probably won't believe it. And He has done this whenever He wants to teach me something of importance. One cannot so easily ignore or run away from Our Lord when He's determined to instruct a stubborn student.----For example, one day, realizing that He was arranging for me to go to Jerusalem I complained, "No, Lord, I don't want to go to Jerusalem." I tried to run away from the thought and went inside my closet and shut the door tightly. Immediately I glanced over at an old cardboard jewelry box and couldn't remember what was in it. When I opened it I was surprised to see an olive-wood Cross from the Holy Land, with the word "JERUSALEM" written across the cross beam.---Thankfully, Our Lord is so persistent and patient in teaching His stubborn children, and I learned you can't hide in a closet from the Presence, or the Will, of God! (I was so blessed to be able to spend Christmas Eve in Bethlehem that year.)
We've already explained (on the "History" and "Our Lady of Guadalupe" pages) how God chose Christopher Columbus & Cortes to bring the deposit of the Holy Christian Faith to this half of the world, and how the miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe solidified the Faith here. We've also looked briefly at the importance of the Holy Love apparitions, near Cleveland, Ohio. In this segment, we will explore how these events are magnificently, and mysteriously, related to one another. And for this end, I'm sharing the following diary entry from 1994.
(Diary entry)On "The Queenship of Mary" (8/22/94) ...I promised to serve the Blessed Virgin Mary, as my Queen and my Mother, in whatever she asked. A few hours later, my sons returned home from a camping trip to the Florida Keys and one of them handed me a beautiful gold and silver medallion that he found in the ocean, while snorkeling. On one side was the image of the Virgin Mary, as Our Lady of Guadalupe, and on the other, Pope John-Paul II. I knew right away that it was a confirmation of my prayer commitment, but at that time, I knew nothing about Our Lady of Guadalupe.
A couple of months later, as I was driving home (around 4:30 in the afternoon) I kept noticing a strange flickering of light in the sky. I mentioned this a couple of times to my mother who was in the car with me, but each time we looked up, all we saw were some beautiful pinkish colors in the clouds.
When we got home, we sat out in the yard swing and I began to read the mail. I'd received a newsletter of current Holy Love apparition messages. As I was reading about the significance of Our Lady's appearances there (August-1994) under the title of "Our Lady of Guadalupe" (Patroness of the Americas), I suddenly saw a bright flicker of pinkish light race across the paper. This happened twice, as I read. Both times I quickly tried to point it out to my mother, but as fast as I could get the words out of my mouth, there was nothing to see. A few minutes later, my son said, "Mom, there's your rainbow." Right above us was a beautiful vertical streak of rainbow in a blue sky.
The rainbow is a familiar sign of confirmation for me. However, it's not the standard "bow-shaped" rainbow, and there is often a very bright light associated with it, as in the brightness of a little sun. I'm sure scientists can provide details about how such rainbows are formed, but I have many pictures of them, and they are often noticed on an important day on the Catholic Church's calendar, such as on Divine Mercy Sunday, the Queenship of Mary (August 22nd), or after some big personal prayer. Scripture documents that there's a rainbow around the Throne of God."And above the firmament that was over their heads, was the likeness of a throne....and upon the likeness of the throne, was a likeness as of the appearance of a man above upon it. And I saw as it were the resemblance of amber as the appearance of fire within it round about: from his loins and upward, and from his loins downward, I saw as it were the resemblance of fire shining round about. As the appearance of the rainbow when it is in a cloud on a rainy day. This was the appearance of the brightness round about." (Ezechiel 1:26-28)
In the Book of the Apocalypse (Revelations), there is an angel that has a rainbow about his head. "And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow was on his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire...." (Apocalypse 10:1)
Several months after the experience of the pink flickers of light, I decided to go to a Holy Love apparition.
Just before the Rosary began on July 12, 2005, there was a rainbow streak in the sky that gave way to a faint halo around the sun at 7PM---the scheduled time of the prayer service. Later, the visionary announced that the Blessed Mother came "standing in front of the sun...as Our Lady of Guadalupe."

[The above picture was taken at another apparition--Dec. 1999--and shows the remnants of the rainbow that was above the Holy Love property for much of the afternoon. Seeing a rainbow, in Cleveland, in December...in a clear sky was a bit odd. Here the rainbow has almost disappeared, but the bright white light can still be seen.]
The following are just a few of the other rainbows captured on film over the years, near the Bay of the Holy Spirit. The 1st rainbow (below) was on the day I promised to serve Our Lord (1984). I asked Him for a sign if He would accept my commitment. Immediately I turned and found myself looking out the window at this large, flat rainbow. Since then, the Lord has often used the rainbow as a sign of confirmation over the years...just as He did the day I was reading the Holy Love messages.

-----The little medallion that my son found in the Keys held a great mystery for me. I knew there was a reason that it was found in the ocean---at the southern-most tip of North America--- and that it had something to do with Christopher Columbus .... but I didn't know why. I began reading everything I could about Columbus and was so surprised to learn that he was a very spiritual man, and a devout Catholic. He also wrote a lot about the Heavenly Jerusalem. He seemed to be so drawn to Its mystery in the spiritual sense.
One day I found myself remarking to someone, that if you were to draw a line from where Columbus discovered America, to Mexico City (Our Lady of Guadalupe), and up to Cleveland, Ohio, (near the Holy Love apparitions), you would have a triangle representing the Holy Trinity. I was so surprised about what I'd said.
I opened my atlas and drew the lines on the map---but they were a little lopsided. However, when I opened one of my books about Columbus, I read that the "evangelization" of the Americas began with his 2nd voyage, as he brought the first missionary priests to the Dominican Republic. It was further south. When I again connected the cities---this time using Santo Domingo, Mexico City, and Cleveland---it formed a beautiful triangle. In the Catholic Church the Triangle represents the Holy Trinity---One God in 3 Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Whether the dimensions are close or exact (such as where Columbus actually came ashore), the facts regarding the meaning and the significance of the locations are very impressive.
(It is also noteworthy that these first evangelists arrived on Jan. 6th, 1494--which celebrates the Epiphany of our Lord.---This is also where the first Catholic Diocese and the 1st Marian Shrine in the Western Hemisphere are.)
The Triangle also resembles a Mountain---which has a "Foundation" and a "Pinnacle." Truly, the Foundation here is so significant, as well as the Pinnacle.

- Columbus brought the Holy (Catholic) Christian Faith to the Americas, to a world that knew nothing about their Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus, and the Church He established, is the "Cornerstone" and the "Rock" that is the Foundation. "...and upon this rock I will build my church" Matthew 16:18 Every stable structure needs a solid cornerstone.
which happens to be the geographical middle of the Western Hemisphere. Cortes and the Spanish
Missionaries brought the Holy Christian Faith to that exact area....which is where Our Lady of
Guadalupe would appear (on Tepeyac Hill) just 10 years later. Thus, that point of the "Foundation"
(confirmed by Aztec prophecy and the appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe), reveals the importance
of devotion to Jesus' Mother...our Mother.
3. And at the "Pinnacle" of the Holy Mountain is "The Call to Holiness" ---our sanctification--- through
the Holy Love Apparitions of Jesus and Mary.
The Pinnacle of Holy Love
It is noteworthy that the design of the old prayer center (that sits near the entrance to the Holy Love property) has a niche on the front side of the building that is shaped like a triangle. This author does not know the people who run the Holy Love property and has never mentioned anything to them about this map or the triangle. Yet the design of their building just happens to agree with the "pinnacle" on the map...and the building's niche points to the north---as if completing the summit of the map's structure in the physical sense. There is a statue of the Blessed Mother inside the niche.
In opposition to the above "Holy Foundation," Jesus speaks about another "foundation" we should be aware of. 4/19/09 @ Holy Love message: "Today the foundation of a one-world government has been laid through the global economic collapse which Satan has orchestrated. As this unfolds, remember that your free will remains intact. No one can dictate the affections of your heart. Live always in Holy Love. Remain calm; be at peace. If your heart is steeped in love of God and love of neighbor, you are safe, for I am with you."
Mary gave this message many years before this nation's financial crisis: 6/30/97 "....Your country was founded upon the rock of trust in God. But over the years that rock of faith has crumbled and turned to sand. Sand washes away in the tide of secularism. Therefore, see that the foundation of your nation will, in a series of events to come, crack and open to swallow up iniquity. Physically your nation will change. Also the cornerstone men have made for themselves fiscally will be shaken. Your country has not experienced such events in the past. Hearts are unprepared, for people no longer depend on God, but on their own resources. It is during this series of events that mankind will find human efforts lacking and empty. I am calling you to understand this now, during these times, so that you will pray and know that I am with you. You are prepared if you are in the Refuge of my Heart."
....You see how important the spiritual Mountain of the Lord is for us in our day: the Holy Foundation, as well as the Pinnacle of Holy Love. But we also need a "Staff" to assist us in the climb, which is "The Cross."
The Cross and the Altar
In looking at the above map, we see that part way up the mountain is the place of the Conyers Apparitions (1990's). At Conyers, Jesus gave the following messages regarding the "Altar and the Cross." "Build the altar in the shape of a Cross. Do not be concerned what others will say, for you will teach them about the Cross...I solemnly tell you, who comes to the altar with faith, I will pour forth My graces. Oh, what gifts they will walk away with...." (Conyers 8/14-15, 1990)"A place is holy if I say it is holy. And I have said to you the little, insignificant, very ordinary hill in your back yard is holy ground..... (Conyers 1/12/91)
"Come to My altar to pray and receive many, many graces. My Mother and I await them..." (1/15/91)
9/11/03 "Holy Love" message:
Jesus: "...It is impossible to make this spiritual journey and at the same time avoid the cross."
We must consider that an altar is a means of offering prayers and sacrifices to the Lord (as mentioned on the Home Page). The Fatima message also encouraged "prayers and sacrifices". Thus, in the spiritual journey, our "Crosses" are the prayerful offerings of our sacrifices, sufferings, and acceptance of God's Divine Will, regardless of comfort or difficulty. These Crosses are offered to the Father on the altars of our own hearts.Holy Love message from Mary: 10/5/97 "Any sacrifice needs to be offered from a heart of love. This is the foundation which makes it most worthy. Do not offer up anything out of dread, but from motivation of Holy Love. While it is very good and acceptable to fast on bread and water, it is not good to try this if you are ill or if such a fast would threaten your health. The best fast is to fast from your own will. Your will is self love. I have given you these guidelines. Surrender being in the spot light, having your own way, doing as you choose when you choose it. Make yourself little."
10/13/10 Holy Love message - Jesus: "My brothers and sisters, with hope in your hearts, pray for the conversion of all those who neglect Me, who do not offer sacrifices or prayers for the well-being of their brethren. Much depends on your prayers. Although you see them as humble and insignificant, I tell you, Heaven is listening."

Christopher Columbus once wrote:

The Triangle Map & Christopher Columbus' Signature
Columbus' Signature very much resembles the Triangle (or Mountain) on the map....even down to the "A" (as in Altar, in the Conyers context.) Many publications have "speculated" about the meaning of his mysterious signature. He never left an explanation.
"THE LORD LOVES THE GATES OF SION..."
"Ohio" is the Indian word for "Beautiful." It is said that the Messiah will enter through Jerusalem's "Beautiful Gate" (also known as the Golden Gate.)

Many messages are given at the Holy Love site about the "New Jerusalem." Devotion to St. Michael is about "Truth," and the "Sanctified Mountain" relates to the message of the Holy Love apparitions, which is our "Call to Holiness" ...our sanctification. The "Universal Call to Holiness" is also the "theme," or "call" of the Catholic Church's mission today.

Christopher Columbus gave great consideration to the meaning of "Jerusalem."
According to Columbus, the word "Jerusalem" has 4 meanings:
1. The earthly city where pilgrims go, in the historical sense.
2. The Church militant, in the allegorical sense
3. A faithful soul, in the tropologic sense
4. The Celestial Jerusalem, the Kingdom of Heaven, in the anagogic sense"

One day as I contemplated the images on the little medallion, I understood that
it was God's Will that I go to Mexico, to Tepeyac Hill, where the
actual image of Our Lady of Guadalupe was. Afraid of traveling to
another country, and with no funds to do so, I told Our Lord that I was
willing to go...but He would have to send me.Within a couple of weeks, our local radio station began a contest to send the winner on a pilgrimage to Mexico, and to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which would also include a large open-air Mass with Pope John Paul II. As soon as I heard about the contest, I knew I would win. I knew it would be the means that our Lord would use to send me to Mexico as He had requested.
The contest spanned over a period of several weeks, and involved much listener participation. In the end, I won, and Our Lord has provided some of the pictures on this web-site for that purpose.

The Palm Tree - The Sign of Victory
"After this I saw a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and in sight of the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands..." Apocalypse 7:9
Diary Notation: The Lord taught a little lesson about trees. First he showed me the ugly tree (below, left) that was entangled and ensnared, and very unbecoming. We are like that when we allow sin to rule our lives, and the consequences of our sins become an unsightly entanglement for us. Yet the beauty of the palm tree gives glory to God and His Creative Hand. Its singular focus is to strive upward toward Heaven with its awesome magnificence and beauty.
One day, as I was on my way to work, I was thinking about the differences between the majestic palm tree, vs the entangled tree, and how we are like those trees, either by giving in to the entanglement of sin or by focusing on Heaven as our goal. I thought about a "landmark" banyan tree that I pass by each day on the way to work. That one tree has spread its vertical growth so much so, that it looks like it has formed multiple trees. It's like a proud tree that wants to make sure it will not move. It also reminds us that when we sin, our sin has a multiplying effect. As I drove, still comparing the trees as to how we live our lives, I made excuses for the banyan tree's unruly growth by telling Our Lord, "But everyone respects that old banyan tree." He taught me that "human respect" will not spare an unruly tree---because, a minute later, I turned the corner where the old tree is located, and was stunned to see workers cutting off some of its massive branches.
Let us consider the choices we make in life, and how it truly affects us and others, and may we remember that the "palm"---the sign of victory---is available to each one of us, if we choose it. ----And like the tree to the right, let us test everything, beneath the Shield of St. Michael and through the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary, so that we may not chase after every doctrine that tickles our ears.

4/19/09 (Jesus @ Holy Love) "With a compassionate heart for the spiritual crisis in the heart of the world, realize that the tree of virtue stretches heavenward towards perfection in God's Will. On the other hand, the tree of antipathy towards God suffers from neglect and lack of care and takes on a countenance of death. Unless the gardener notices this poor tree, it will face a grim future."

9/12/93 (Holy Love) Our Lady is here in gray. She says: "All praise be to Jesus, Redeemer and King." I answered, "Now and forever." Then She said, "Pray with me, please, for those who do not keep holiness today." We prayed. A private message was given, then Our Lady said: "Dear children, once again, tonight I come to invite you to climb the mountain with me, the summit of which is personal holiness. That which blocks Holy Love from entering the soul is love of self. Therefore, My little children, love God and love your neighbor, die to self and ascend the mountain with me." She blessed us and left.

2/22/95 (The Visionary was in Florida) Jesus: "Make it known. The gateway to the New Jerusalem is the Flame of My Mother's Heart which is Holy Love. No one can enter, save through this Purifying Flame, for Holy Love is the New Jerusalem."
5/4/04 Jesus: "As it has been 10 years since we first celebrated the feast of Holy Love, I am asking souls to return to devotion to 'Mary Refuge of Holy Love'--My Immaculate Mother. Live each moment as consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart. Do not deny Her the joy of being your Mother--your Gateway to the New Jerusalem. Do not deny yourself the opportunity of being Her child--of feeling Her Maternal touch in your heart."
"As I strengthen My remnant faithful and My call intensifies in hearts and in the world, I will prepare you for the New Jerusalem.
You will be ready when the harvesting angels arrive with their
winnowing fans. Certain events will unfold--events you do not foresee

3/5/07 Jesus: "Let Me describe to you what life would be like if everyone were living in the New Jerusalem--the Divine Will, which is Holy Love. First, there would be worldwide peace, for peace would be in all hearts. There would be no more inequality. All people would be respected by one another; therefore, hunger for food, as well as hunger for the truth would be satisfied. Disease would cease. There would be no need for it as people would no longer offend God. All opinions, all thought, word and deed would be based on Holy Love. No one would believe in Satan's lies any longer. Hatred would only be hatred for sin. In such an atmosphere people would live only to please Me and each other. Is this not a sufficient reward for righteousness?"
"As apostles of Holy Love, you must proceed with Holy Boldness in propagating these Messages. If you hesitate out of fear of what others might think, you are placing love of human respect above love of God and neighbor. If these Messages were unnecessary, I would not come to you with them. My Mother would stay in Heaven adoring the Trinity; and the angels and saints would not be sent to you, either."
"As it is, these times are desperate. The fate of many depends upon the propagation and acceptance of these Messages. Show mercy, then, on those you encounter by introducing them to Heaven's call to Holy and Divine Love; for this is the way that straightens the path between the human heart and the Divine."

to the United Hearts inspires personal holiness so that one heart at a

7/8/11 Jesus is here with His Heart exposed. He says: "I am your Jesus,
born Incarnate." He is holding a white flag with a red cross on it. "My brothers and sisters, I have a plan - a plan which will hasten the coming of the New Jerusalem here on earth. My plan is this - that each of you works diligently towards coming deeper into Our United Hearts in every present moment."
"In order for you to succeed in My plan, you must forgive everyone, including yourself for past transgressions against Holy Love. Forgiveness is the key to deepening your relationship with Our United Hearts."
"Tonight I am blessing you with My Blessing of Divine Love."

Author's Note: One day in the late 1980's, before I knew anything at all about the significance of a "Spiritual Mountain," I had my eyes closed in prayer and could suddenly see myself climbing a mountain. I was half way up the side, but was having trouble climbing. I understood that I was being weighed down by many things.----This is true in the spiritual life. If we are too concerned with, and clinging to, all the distractions and possessions of this world, including our pride, and even our own reputation, and we neglect our spiritual life---our prayers, sacrifices and devotions---we will not advance in the climb. ---- As I looked down the mountainside, I was very sad to see many people at the base, so busy running here and there, that they made no attempt to climb the mountain at all.
